Counselling In New Malden

Seeking help from a therapist for a mental health issue can feel like a big step to take. Due to the very nature of self-exploration, it is no wonder that most people feel some hesitancy or have mixed feelings about starting therapy.

All too often, we feel we should push through it alone, be able to work things out ourselves; and be self-sufficient.

Yet we often struggle to understand our thoughts and beliefs that shape the way we look at the world.

We can find ourselves stuck in unhappy relationships, repeating patterns of destructive behaviour, restricting our emotional, creative, and professional development.

Psychotherapy can help you gain a more in-depth understanding and insights into how you’re feeling and why you’re feeling it, increasing your self-awareness, and helping you to live more freely in the world.

I have been working clinically since 2009, with an MSc in psychotherapy, a BSc Hons degree in integrative counselling (both approved by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and a qualification in psychoanalytic psychotherapy with adults from the British Psychotherapy Foundation.

If you’re looking for counselling or psychotherapy in New Malden or the surrounding areas, you can contact me so I can get a better understanding of what you need and to see if the therapy I offer might be helpful to you.
